These little glazed ceramic characters are handmade in Japan and are filled with soil and rye grass seeds. They are ready and waiting to be watered with the promise that they will germinate in less than two weeks – after all, Nyokki means “grow, grow, grow” in Japanese. They would look incredibly cute on a sunny window sill.
